Brake Job Simplicity
Let’s keep it simple. When your Brakes start making noise or don’t work as well, you need Brake Pads, Brake Rotors, a Fluid Flush, or a Brake Bleed.
More than likely just Brake Pads, unless your Rotors are very worn and/or your vehicle rattles and shakes when you hit the Brakes.
Just Brakes will install for $60.00 and measure your Brake Rotors, just to be safe.
Installing a set of Brake Pads takes about 30 minutes, give or take. Just buy some high-quality pads—perhaps with a lifetime warranty—and have them installed.
Brake Rotor Robbery
Auto Shops and many Mechanics notoriously tell customers they need Brake Rotors and give a $900 estimate. OEM standard Brake Rotors can be expensive and more expensive when marked up.
You could end up paying for Brake Rotors and labor that was never needed.
Brake Rotors should be measured with a digital caliper for thickness. A number is engraved in the rotor. Unless the thickness is under the number you can keep using those Rotors.
Rotors can also be tested for “lateral runout.” In plain English: uneven wear. Testing two rotors could cost more than replacing one rotor, depending on the vehicle. Also add in the cost of machining.
You can easily spend more money than necessary.

The Cost Of Labor will Hurt
Labor for Brake Pad Replacement runs from $80 – 115. We start at $60 without selling any parts. Just Brakes just installs.
